Hey, I'm Rob.
Throughout my 30 years in the creative industry, I have worked for a corporation, a government department, four design studios, started two successful agencies, and taught and continue to teach design courses to the next generation of creatives.
As the founder and Chief Creative Officer of Greenmelon, I have led innovative projects for a diverse range of high-profile clients, including Warner Brothers, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, DC Comics, and the Royal Canadian Mint, and was the architect/creative director of the beloved Farm Boy brand. With my reputation for blending creativity with business acumen, I have been recognized with more than 100 industry awards for excellence in design and branding.
As the former Vice-President and founding member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers (R.G.D.), I have always advocated for professional development in the creative community.

This made me realize my passion for teaching, serving as an adjunct professor to mentor the next generation of creatives. And I take this thought leadership beyond the classroom, with a growing platform that includes public speaking engagements and a monthly newsletter, all aimed at empowering creatives to realize their full potential. I've also had the pleasure of presenting at events such as Design Thinkers, in-house design conferences, design workshops, webinars, and podcasts to creatives globally. Through my work, I want to continue to drive innovation, inspire excellence, and shape the future of design.

Behind these personal successes lies a career full of late nights, frustrated sighs, and banging my head against the keyboard in an attempt to create good work. I have felt out of place and lost.
